Just to be clear, I only acknowledge Home Alone sequels with Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister. The others do not exist. The plot has the same vibe: Kevin’s family accidentally leaves him behind (again, how do they keep doing this?) while they head to Florida. Instead of his house, Kevin finds himself in the BIG city, living it up in a fancy hotel. But, of course, no holiday adventure would be complete without some mischief and running into the Wet Bandits… and a random pigeon lady in Central Park.
This one is SO nostalgic, and I mean, who doesn’t love Charlie Brown’s search for the true meaning of Christmas? Plus, the music. Can we talk about that iconic soundtrack?!
Of course this movie is on this list. How could it not? Buddy the Elf is the ultimate cinnamon roll of holiday movies. He’s pure positivity wrapped in yellow tights and green shoes. If you need something that’ll make you laugh and leave you with all the jolly vibes, this one’s a must.
This underrated gem is probably my favorite Christmas movie of all time. It gives deep life lessons and leaves you with all the feels. Nicholas Cage plays Jack Campbell, a wealthy, career-driven man who gets a glimpse of what his life could have been like if he had chosen a different path—like, what if he had stayed with his true love and built a family? Cue the holiday magic.
The original Grinch is such a mood, honestly. With all the bright colors, quirky animations, and that perfect soundtrack, it’s just the cozy movie you need when you’re feeling extra. Plus, you’ll never get tired of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” 🎶
Jack Skellington’s Christmas takeover is so nice, I had to add it twice (What else do you expect from a Disney girl?). This movie is the ultimate Halloween/Christmas mashup with quirky characters, pure chaos, and songs that you cannot get out of your head.

OK, this is a hidden gem. It’s a Disney classic that’s kind of underrated, but soooo good. I literally SOB every time I watch this. It’s about a little donkey named Small One who helps bring baby Jesus to Bethlehem, and it’s the sweetest, most heartwarming thing you’ll ever see. It’s short, so you can fit it into your cozy movie marathon!
