EL NIÑO IS COMING. ARE YOU READY?

Get Your Prep Together

We’re ready for sweaters, warm drinks, and rainy-day playlists. Now we need an emergency prep.

NOAA reports that El Niño is strengthening, and it seems that October – December 2026 will have wetter-than-normal conditions across Southern California. That doesn’t guarantee major storms or flooding, but it’s a good reason to get your essentials together just in case!

Your quick prep checklist:

  • Stay in the loop. Keep up with local weather alerts and know your evacuation routes.
  • Find the flashlight. Make sure that it works and keep extra batteries nearby.
  • Stock the basics. Have at least 3 days of water, food, and necessary medications.
  • Check your first-aid supplies. Restock what’s missing and replace expired items.
  • Keep your kit easy to grab. Place it somewhere you can actually find it when you need it.
  • Charge up. Keep your phone ready with extra chargers and your emergency contacts accessible. (weather.gov)

The National Weather Service recommends keeping emergency supplies such as water, food, blankets, emergency tools, and a first-aid kit ready and easy to grab.

Your preparedness era starts here

The Be Smart Get Prepared Emergency Prep & Go With First Aid Go Bag, 93 pieces  – in one durable bag, including emergency water, a food bar, a blanket, a poncho, a whistle, lighting supplies, and first-aid essentials with SILVEX® Wound Gel. Add the extra supplies and personal items your household needs to round out your emergency stash. (weather.gov)

Because “I’ll grab it when the storm gets here” is a little too much confidence in future you.

Little ones. Furry ones. Let’s pack for everyone.

For the littles, pack water, non-perishable snacks (that suit their ages and allergies), and a small activity like a coloring book or puzzle. Because “I’m hungry” doesn’t take a rain check.

For your furry babies, set aside several days of food and water, medications, bowls, waste supplies, a leash or carrier, and vaccination records. Check their ID tags and tuck in a favorite toy, too.

Our Trails N’ Tails 72-piece kit keeps first-aid and pet-care supplies together, including bandages, pet wipes, a collapsible bowl, and an emergency blanket. One handy addition to their emergency stash.

A little TLC works, too

Between packing and planning, immunity health belongs on your care checklist, too. Our Immuno Boost features advanced Nano Silver healing. It helps boost your immune system and helps your body’s natural defense system work more efficiently to maintain its natural, healthy state. A great addition that the whole family can have.

A little prep now means more time for peace of mind. Get your essentials together, pack for the whole family (fur babies included), and keep a close watch on the forecast. Future you will be SO glad you did!
