A DREAMWEAVER’S MANIFESTO

The Alchemy of the Perfect Color

The Myth of the Single Shade

In the world of preparation, there is a lingering habit of categorization. To some, we are a “pink” demographic; to others, we are defined solely by a corporate title. But from the more than four decades of life I have lived, I have realized that I am a Dreamweaver of sorts. It is perhaps apt, as my name, Penelope, means “weaver” in Greek. In different ways and on various occasions, I have comfortably taken that title for myself. My work isn’t just about the mechanics of marketing or the logistics of a project; it is about weaving together the invisible threads of safety, ambition, and the “glimmers” of joy that make a life worth protecting. I know that a woman cannot—and should not—be limited to a single color or a single role. We are not objects to be labeled; we are the very threads woven into the fabric of life, intentionally intertwined to create something beautiful and strong.

The Living Palette: Our Internal Hues

When I look at my colleagues, I don’t see a rigid organizational chart. I see a vibrant, shifting “Power Palette” where the color they carry in the office is fed by the deep wells of who they are beyond corporate walls:

Geo (Chief Sales & Marketing Officer) is a Peach: This is the glow of a high-level corporate leader who seamlessly transitions into the high-energy world of being a sports mom. Her “peach” is the warmth and endurance required to manage a brand and a sideline with equal passion.

Ayin (Marketing Director) is a Pink: She reclaims this shade as a position of power. It represents the heartbeat of the department—a color that vibrates with the energy of a sister, a confidante, and a strategist all at once.

Eder (Quality Assurance Manager) is a Yellow: Like the sun, she is the constant. Her “yellow” is the bright, steady clarity she brings to the production line, a precision that is mirrored in her devotion as a mother.

Ruby (Order Entry Specialist) is a Lilac: There is a gentle strength in lilac—the ability to manage the intricate logistics of every order while holding the wisdom of a grandmother.

Ellen (Accounts Payable Manager) is a Light Blue: She is the “cool head” in the room who also serves as a worship leader. Her blue is the calm clarity she uses to balance our ledgers and lead a room in song, providing a sense of peace to her friendships and her work.

Beth (QA Assistant) is a Green: She is the color of growth and grounding. She is a caregiver and a worship singer, ensuring the safety of a product by day while nurturing others and lifting her voice by night. Her energy is the stable root that keeps us upright.

Erika (Creative Director) is an Orange: She is the spark. Her “orange” is vibrant, bold, and endlessly colorful—a perfect match for her role as our creative lead and her new, beautiful journey as a new mom. She proves that motherhood and high-level design are both fueled by the same creative fire.

Jessica (Human Resources Director) is a Grey: She is our anchor. Grey is the color of strength and intelligence, representing the steady, unwavering support she provides to our team. Just as grey balances every other color in a spectrum, she balances our culture, providing the foundation that allows all our other roles to flourish.

Yalina (Marketing Coordinator) is a Purple: This is the color of the visionary and the magical. A lover of all things Disney, she brings the enchantment of a real-life princess to her work. Whether she’s coordinating our brand or transforming through the art of dressing up, her purple represents the imagination and joy that turn a mundane day into a storybook journey.

Weavers of the “Perfect Color”

We are indeed weavers—of the day-to-day, of deadlines, of goals, achievements, adventures, journeys, friendships, and of families. Like my friend who manages a household and a business simultaneously, we prove that these roles aren’t separate, disconnected boxes.

They are different palettes we use at different moments of our lives. One hour we are the leader, the next we are the protector, the princess, or the grandmother. None of these colors exist in isolation; they bleed into one another to form the “perfect color” of a life fully lived—a shade that is resilient, complex, and impossible to categorize.

The Mastery of the Loom

Preparation is not a “man’s world”; it is the natural language of anyone who has something—or someone—worth weaving a future for. We are the Dream weavers who take the raw, often messy threads of reality—the late-night emails, the early-morning carpools, the precision of the production line, and the magic of a costume—and turn them into a masterpiece of readiness.

We understand that a kit is just a box until it is held by someone with the will to use it, and a dream is just a wish until it is woven with the steel of preparation. We aren’t just watching the loom; we are the ones choosing the weight of the thread and the strength of the knot.

A Celebration of the Spectrum

As we honor Women’s History Month, we celebrate more than just the names in history books; we celebrate the living, breathing “Power Palette” in our offices, our homes, and our communities. We celebrate the women who refuse to be “shrunk and pinked,” who instead demand a spectrum that matches their depth of being.

This month, look at the women in your life—not as objects to be protected, but as the master weavers they are.

Together, we aren’t just creating a product; we are weaving a world where every color has a purpose, and every woman has the power to define her own hue.

Keep weaving, keep creating, and never let anyone dictate your color. For we are all master weavers, after all. ❤️
