“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” — John 13:34
On the surface, it’s a typical office scene. I listen to the low hum of the copier, the steady rhythm of keyboards, and see men and women going about their daily work duties with a focus that rarely wavers. For a long time, that was all I saw. But recently, I found out about a quiet, weekly phenomenon that happens behind closed doors—an open secret of sorts that explains so much about the women I’ve come to call my friends.
In the middle of the usual office bustle, this specific group slips into the Sales Conference Room to find something much quieter and infinitely deeper than a product briefing or a power lunch.
Though I haven’t sat in this group myself, I’ve learned that to enter this space, they undergo a mental shifting of gears. They leave behind workspaces, half-eaten lunch times, and the heavy weight of personal anxieties and worries. It’s a transition from the noise of the day-to-day to a mindset focused on learning God’s word and seeking His presence.
The Women’s Fellowship Group is a beautiful gathering of women from different departments, united by faith and friendship, and led by Ellen from Accounting. Alongside her are Agnes, Elvie, and Mona, who also serve in the Accounting team. The group is enriched by Ayin from Marketing, Ruby from Sales Order Entry, Eder and Beth from Quality Assurance, Jaye from Regulatory, and Kim from the Executive Office. They are also joined by Percy from Finance. Though they come from different roles and responsibilities, they are brought together by a shared desire to grow spiritually, support one another, and walk faithfully with God.

Knowing this now, I look at them with even more admiration. Ellen tells me that every newcomer isn’t met with a cold professional gaze, but instead with warm, good smiles. It makes perfect sense to me now; I’ve always felt that sense of belonging when I’m around them, feeling “not intimidated by the people inside the circle.
The “Secret Sauce”: A Cast of Holy Characters
My relationship with these women has always been outside of this sisterhood, yet seeing how they are as friends and as people, their “roles” in this group feel so authentic to the women I know:
Beyond the personalities, I clearly see that this sisterhood is a special gift—a bond that is rare in itself. In a world where so much of the superficial exists, this circle proves that being true and vulnerable is where true strength lies. As Ayin beautifully reflects:

“It is deeply moving to hear each testimony, each story of brokenness turned into strength, each moment where we acknowledge that it was never us but always God’s power moving, healing, and restoring. In our weakest moments, He shows His strength, and in sharing those moments together, our faith becomes stronger.”
This is a strength that draws itself from the fact that the Lord made each one of us in His image and likeness. I’ve realized that the most we can do to honor Him is to be true to ourselves and to love one another with that same radical honesty.

A Divine Reflection
I’ve realized that the Lord shows Himself not just in grand, distant places and actions, but in the everyday—alive in each one of us. He is present in that Sales Conference Room, which Ellen describes as a “quiet place with fewer distractions.” He shows Himself through Ellen’s memory, Ayin’s heart, and the simple, vital question they ask each other: “How are you?” and “Is there something you want to share so we can pray about it?“
There is something deeply reassuring about realizing my friends have a place where they are reminded of who they truly are. As Ellen reflects, this group encourages her to “develop trust in others, hold on to God’s promises and live the life that will glorify God in all aspects.” Her perspective has shifted more toward God’s love, and I see that reflected in how she treats everyone around her.
A Heartfelt Hope
For me, it is such an honor simply to know these women. But more importantly, it feels like a profound gift to realize that maybe—just maybe—I can be a part of this sisterhood, too. To move from being a witness of their light to a participant in their circle is a journey I find myself longing for. It is a testament to the warmth of this group that they don’t just inspire those on the outside; they make us want to step inside.
My Personal “Amen”
Whether they are singing their favorite worship songs like “Goodness of God,” “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” or “Gratitude,” these women prove that God’s word is a living thing. As Ayin says, “the scriptures speak for themselves… so that we can feel His presence.”
Even though I have stood on the outside, I am changed by the light they carry. Through them, I am reminded that we are all surrounded by Him, held in His Love, and never truly walking our paths alone. To any woman looking for this kind of grace, the answer from this sisterhood is simple: “Just show up. God will do the rest.”

I’ll leave you with these final thoughts from Ayin, which perfectly capture the heart of this group:
“I call them my SOUL SISTERS because they are not just friends; they are God-sent reminders that I am never alone. They are the hands that hold mine in prayer, the voices that speak truth into my doubts, and the hearts that walk beside me as we grow closer to Him. And no matter where life takes us, I know that our souls are forever connected, anchored in faith, bound by love, and guided by God’s unfailing grace.”
