How one woman sprinkles joy from the warehouse to Disneyland.

“Hello, sunshine!” – If you ever meet Antoinette Hernandez – or as we all lovingly call her, Netty – you’ll quickly notice she’s powered by two things: purpose and pixie dust. By day, she’s our calm-under-pressure Operations Manager, leading with grace and a “we got this” attitude. By night, she swaps her company badge for a pair of Mickey ears and becomes part of the team that keeps the Disneyland magic alive.

🩹 From First Aid to First Impressions

Netty’s two careers couldn’t sound more different – one involves first aid kits and real-life emergencies, while the other is all about keeping fantasy alive for guests at Disneyland. But to her, they actually go hand-in-hand.

“At TRI, I set the tone for the team – staying calm, making quick decisions, and coordinating efficiently,” she explains. “At Disneyland, those same skills help me handle guest control, respond to unexpected challenges, and keep the magic flowing.”

Sometimes the schedules clash (because even magic has timecards), but she finds peace knowing both jobs feed into each other. When work gets stressful, Disneyland becomes her escape – and when the castle lights fade, TRI grounds her in purpose.

🎢 Clocking Out, Casting On

Her weekdays run like clockwork: TRI from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Disneyland from 6:30 PM until close. It sounds like a lot, but Netty says, “Once I put on my Disney Pirates or Pooh Bear uniform, it helps me shift my focus – it’s time to make magic.”

Through both worlds, she’s learned how to work with every kind of personality and stay understanding – a superpower she credits to TRI. And when burnout creeps in? “By God’s grace and energy,” she says warmly, “I keep going.” Her family – her husband and sons – keep her motivated, and girls’ days with her sister or cousins help her recharge her sparkle.

🌈 Magic Meets Meaning

Whether it’s managing an operations team or greeting guests at Disneyland, Netty’s impact runs deep.

“I love working with people. Everyone wants to be heard, and I want them to know they matter.”

One moment that stayed with her forever was when a woman burst into tears after Netty wished her a happy birthday.

“She told me I was the first person to greet her that day,” Netty said. “It reminded me that even the smallest gestures can mean everything.”

At TRI, she helps protect lives. At Disneyland, she helps brighten them. “It’s two forms of service – one of caring, the other of fulfilling. And I love both equally.”

💫 The Echo of Her Light

When asked what this chapter of her life would be titled, Netty didn’t hesitate:

“The Echo of Her Light.”

It’s a tribute to her late mother – her guiding star… Her Evangeline (IYKYK). “Even though she’s gone, I try to live by what she taught me. God is at the center of everything. Without Him, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

Five years from now, Netty hopes she’ll look back and remember this season as proof that she could do it all – and with joy. Her advice to anyone feeling torn between two passions?

“Follow your heart. Pray about it. Don’t deprive yourself of what makes you happy.”

And as for the kind of magic she’s trying to create, whether in the office or walking down Main Street, U.S.A., she puts it simply:

“My goal in life is to make people smile.”
