George, our beloved CEO, turned 75 this month… 75! 35 of those years have been poured into TRI, and honestly, that alone is wild to think about. But it wasn’t just another birthday. It was one of those moments that make you pause, breathe, and remember why you’re here.
During our company-wide meeting, George shared a message that hit right in the heart:
“You can retire from your job, but you can never retire from your work.”
He said it so simply, but it carried so much weight. Because TRI was never meant to be just a business – it’s always been a ministry.
As he spoke, you could feel the room shift. The noise quieted, the energy softened, and suddenly, we weren’t just employees in a meeting – we were people reminded of our calling.
At times, it’s natural to question whether daily work makes a real impact. Yet George’s words served as a gentle reminder that each contribution, no matter how ordinary it may seem, plays a meaningful role in a much larger picture – one deeply rooted in faith and purpose.
And that’s the thing about George. He’s our leader, yes, but beyond the decisions and direction, he’s someone who carries God’s heart into the workplace. He’s human, imperfect, but what stands out most about him is his sincerity. You can always see his heart in what he does.

Turning 75 isn’t just a milestone for him; it’s a reflection of a life refined and guided by faith. Through challenges – from the pandemic to rising costs to global shifts – he’s led with resilience, anchored not in profit, but in purpose. His life and leadership remind us that success isn’t about numbers; it’s about people. It’s about the lives touched, the faith strengthened, and the purpose reignited along the way.
In George’s story, we see a legacy that God Himself continues to write – not just through him, but through everyone whose lives have been intertwined with his. It’s a legacy of service, faithfulness, and impact that outlives the years and outlasts the titles.

It’s a beautiful testament of what it means to live a life of purpose: to keep serving, leading, and loving the work that matters, long after others might have chosen to “retire.”
Because purpose doesn’t retire. Calling doesn’t clock out.
And when your work is rooted in love, it never really ends – it just continues through the people you’ve inspired along the way.
